CMPD Officer Visits Ms. Swiger's Class

A guest speaker was welcomed into Miss Swiger’s AIG Communication Skills classes throughout the day to commemorate and educate students on topics related to Veteran's Day.  Robert Yanacsek, a police officer for CMPD and organizer of the Warrior and Warbirds Air Show at the Monroe Executive Airport, shared information with the students.  He discussed the Berlin Airlift, The Tuskegee Airmen, The WASP and The Doolittle Raiders.  Mr. Yanacsek entertained a wide array of questions from the students and passed out patches to those who answered his questions correctly.  Heartfelt thanks are extended to Mr. Yanacsek for his visit to Miss Swiger’s classroom.
